NC – Ingot Rock announces the
signing of Australian blues/roots
guitarist Claude Hay and the
September 21 release of his label
debut CD, Deep Fried Satisfied,
distributed in the U.S. by Burnside
Dis-tribution.
Hailing from Australia’s Blue
Mountains, Claude Hay is a prime
example of the Do-It-Yourself work
ethic, having hand-built his own
twin-neck guitar, lovingly called
“Betty,” and customized his tour van
with a kitchen and a recording
studio. In addition to building his
own instruments, Hay also built his
own house, too. And his musical
approach is no different – he’s
literally a one-man band,
constructing layer-upon-layer of
instruments live and in the studio
until he has listeners guessing
where the rest of the band is
hiding.
